Job summary

AdaptHealth in Lakeland, FL seeks a Respiratory Support Technician to provide direct and indirect patient care across home, office, and hospital settings. You will assist with PAP/BIPAP equipment, perform routine maintenance, and ensure accurate documentation and compliance.

• Proficiency in basic maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.
• Experience with insurance verification processes is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Respiratory staff to instruct, service, and troubleshoot for respiratory patients.
• Set up PAP/BIPAP equipment and communicate usage instructions clearly.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation for billing and records.
• Promote services to community referral sources as appropriate.
