Job summary

AdaptHealth seeks a Respiratory Support Technician to deliver direct and indirect patient care across home, office, and hospital settings in compliance with policies. You will train new hires and mentor staff while ensuring efficient delivery of respiratory equipment and services.

The role requires installation and fitting of PAP equipment, follow-up visits, and adherence to HIPAA. Candidates should be able to lift 50 pounds and travel within the service area as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in Medicare certified HME environment preferred.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME services desired.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Respiratory Department staff to provide equipment instruction and support.
• Set up PAP/BIPAP equipment and fit patients with masks.
• Perform follow-up calls/visits to ensure care outcomes and escalate as needed.
• Conduct preventive maintenance checks and troubleshoot equipment per policy.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and complete required documentation.
