AdaptHealth LLC is seeking a Respiratory Support Technician to provide comprehensive care across home, office, and hospital environments. You will train staff, setup PAP equipment, and ensure compliant documentation and billing support.

You will collaborate with program managers and clinicians, perform maintenance checks, and promote quality care while upholding HIPAA and safety standards. A valid driver's license is required, and some travel is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME services preferred.
• Related experience in Medicare certified HME environment that bills insurance.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with Respiratory Department Staff and Program Managers to provide equipment instruction, service, and troubleshooting for respiratory patients.
• Set up and fit PAP patients with appropriate equipment and masks, communicating instructions clearly.
• Conduct follow-up calls and visits to ensure optimal care outcomes and coordinate with clinical support as needed.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and simple repairs per policy and manufacturer guidelines.
• Report hazards and incidents per company policy.
• Maintain knowledge of Respiratory Programs and HME products and services.
• Complete all required paperwork, including delivery tickets and safety checklists accurately and timely.
• Develop reimbursement knowledge to ensure proper billing documentation.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and adhere to confidentiality and data security protocols.
• Follow PPE, infection control, and hazardous materials procedures.
