Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Respiratory Support Technician to provide direct and indirect patient care across home, office, and hospital settings. You will serve as a subject matter expert, train new hires, and mentor team members while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and company policies.

The role involves PAP/BIPAP setup, routine maintenance, and collaboration with care teams to optimize patient outcomes. Travel within service areas is required as part of the position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in Medicare certified HME environment preferred.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME services beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Respiratory Department staff to provide equipment instruction and service.
• Set up PAP/BIPAP equipment for patients and communicate usage instructions.
• Conduct follow-up calls/visits to ensure optimal care outcomes.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment per guidelines.
• Complete paperwork including delivery tickets and safety checklists accurately.
