Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Respiratory Support Technician to deliver comprehensive patient care across home, office, and hospital settings. You will train staff, troubleshoot respiratory equipment, and ensure compliant documentation while supporting clinical outcomes.

The role requires travel throughout the service area, driving your own vehicle as needed, and maintaining patient confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines. Strong communication and technical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with Medicare certified HME environment preferred.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide equipment instruction, service and troubleshooting for respiratory patients.
• Set up CPAP/BiPAP equipment and masks with clear instructions.
• Perform follow-up calls/visits to ensure optimal care outcomes.
• Maintain equipment per policy and perform basic repairs.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately.
