Job summary

Barron Heating AC Electrical & Plumbing is seeking a Home Performance Expert (Outside Sales) to meet homeowners in their homes, assess comfort and energy needs, and recommend solutions that improve health, safety, and efficiency.

In this full-time role you’ll operate on a commission basis (8%) with travel across Barron service areas, collaborating with technicians and schedulers to deliver exceptional home-performance upgrades.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales, HVAC, home performance, construction, or related industry experience preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Valid Washington State Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to complete pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners to understand comfort, home performance, and energy-efficiency needs.
• Provide a customer-first sales experience focused on education, trust, and solutions.
• Evaluate opportunities to improve home comfort and efficiency.
• Present recommendations clearly and professionally, helping homeowners understand options.
• Coordinate with scheduling and installation teams.
• Maintain follow-up with homeowners and unsold prospects.
• Travel to Barron service areas as needed.
