Job summary

JAG Physical Therapy is seeking a Per Diem Orthopedic Home Physical Therapist in Morris County. The role focuses on orthopedic rehab for patients recovering from hip and knee replacements, providing in-home evaluation and treatment with the goal of transitioning to JAG outpatient clinics for continuity of care.

The candidate must hold a state license to practice in NJ, have strong clinical decision-making and communication skills, and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• State-licensed Physical Therapist in NJ.
• Completed CEU requirements in NY/NJ.
• Experience with EMR software preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong clinical decision-making abilities.
• Maintains professional demeanor at all times.

Responsibilities

• Educate patient on safe bed mobility, transfers and ambulation considering postoperative precautions.
• Assist with transfer, ambulation and stair negotiation to determine safe discharge to home.
