Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in Bethesda, Maryland is seeking a Home Lending Assistant to work alongside Home Lending Advisors to deliver an outstanding experience for home buyers. You will handle inquiries, gather documents, and help move applications through the loan process.

You will coordinate with branch staff, processors, agents, and builders, manage the pipeline, assist in marketing to buyers and realtors, and support annual production goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate.
• Minimum four years’ work experience in mortgage loan processing.
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Office or similar software).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Excellent organization skills.
• Ability to demonstrate control, flexibility, and maintain quality and high productivity when dealing with customers and changing work demand.

Responsibilities

• Handle initial inquiries for prequalification and complete applications.
• Discuss products and pricing with Home Lending Advisor(s).
• Review complex files and resolve potential issues before submission.
• Manage pipeline and communicate updates to advisors and borrowers.
• Coordinate submissions with realtors and lenders to support closings.
• Assist in marketing to buyers, sellers, realtors, and builders.
• Set annual loan targets with advisors and support originations.
