Job summary

Viaero Wireless is seeking an Internet/Data Installation Technician to install and support home internet products and home phone services within your region. Combine strong customer service with technical skills in a dynamic team environment.

You will set up services at customer premises, verify connections, install antennas and cabling, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with schedulers to respond to incidents quickly. A valid driver’s license and ability to travel are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or vocational degree desirable.
• Must be able to work outdoors in various extreme weather conditions.
• Ability to pass pre-employment checks including background, MVR, and substance screening.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Windows-based systems and PCs, including networking setup and testing.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and climb rooftops / work from ladders.
• Must travel to locations requiring overnight stay.
• Flexibility to work weekends and varied shifts, on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform setup of Internet and/or phone services at customer premises, delivering excellent customer service.
• Verify residential customer’s internet connection.
• Install external antennas and cabling as needed.
• Troubleshoot internet service issues.
• Coordinate with schedulers to respond to Trouble Tickets promptly.
