Job summary

AmeriPharma is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with home infusion expertise for in-home care and patient education, including TPN, IVIG, and IV biologics. The RN will provide telephone and in-person guidance under the Director of Nursing, ensuring compliant and effective home infusion programs.

Per Diem, Flexible Hours, Independent Contractor. Requires current RN license, 2+ years in home infusion, and strong clinical judgment with excellent communication.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing and graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• 2+ years in home infusion and infusion centers.
• 2+ years with IV immunoglobulins and IV biologics; CRNI preferred.
• Experience with peripheral IV starts, infusion therapy, and pediatric care preferred.
• Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home infusion visits per care plan.
• Prepare nursing notes and document interventions in records.
• Serve as a clinical resource, collaborating with pharmacy departments.
• Educate patients verbally and by phone on therapy protocols and safety.
• Explain therapy plans, medications, and adherence importance.
• Coordinate between patient, family, and pharmacy for seamless care.
• Perform head-to-toe assessments and initiate preventive care.
• Develop and adjust care plans with necessary services.
