Job summary

AmeriPharma is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in home infusion therapy to join our team. The RN will conduct in-home visits, provide patient education, and collaborate with pharmacy colleagues to ensure safe, effective treatment. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and adherence to care plans.

Per Diem, Flexible Hours as an Independent Contractor. Experience with IVIG and IV biologics is highly valued, with CRNI certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current RN state license.
• 2+ years of experience in home infusion and infusion centers.
• 2+ years with IV Immunoglobulins and IV Biologics; CRNI preferred.
• Experience with peripheral IV starts, infusion therapy, and phlebotomy for adults and pediatrics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and organizational ability.
• Proficient in word processing and email; able to direct information to healthcare providers.
• Current CPR and BLS certification, valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home infusion therapy visits according to the plan of care.
• Prepare nursing notes and document patient interventions in clinical records.
• Act as a clinical resource and collaborate with pharmacy departments.
• Educate patients on therapy protocols, side effects, and home infusion procedures.
• Develop and revise care plans with skilled interventions and services.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
