Job summary

Palomacares is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide skilled home infusion therapy to patients across the Dallas-Fort Worth service area. You will travel to patients’ homes delivering IV medications, biologics, IVIG, antibiotics, and hydration per physician orders and agency policies.

The role requires current Texas RN licensure, BLS/CPR, and at least 1 year of RN experience. Flexible scheduling and local travel are involved, with compensation of $40-$50 per hour depending on

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Texas RN license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
• Competency in peripheral IV insertion and central-line care.
• Strong patient assessment, documentation, and education skills.
• Ability to work independently in patients' homes.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide home infusion therapy, including IV medications, biologics, IVIG, antibiotics, hydration, and other prescribed therapies.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after each infusion.
• Initiate and manage peripheral IV access and care for vascular access devices within scope.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately.
• Educate patients and caregivers on medications, infusion procedures, and signs requiring medical attention.
• Travel throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth service area for scheduled visits.
