Job summary

Palomacares is seeking an experienced Home Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to travel to patients’ homes in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, delivering infusion therapy with safety and quality. The role requires a Texas RN license, BLS/CPR, and 1+ year of RN experience, with flexible scheduling and local travel.

The RN will assess patients, manage IV access, educate families, and document visits in electronic systems, ensuring adherence to physician orders and agency policies.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Texas RN license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
• Competency in peripheral IV insertion and central-line care.
• Ability to work independently in patients' homes.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Smartphone and reliable internet access for scheduling and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide home infusion therapy, including IV medications and other prescribed therapies.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after each infusion.
• Initiate and manage peripheral IV access and care for vascular devices.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately.
• Educate patients and caregivers on medications and procedures.
• Complete accurate electronic clinical documentation following each visit.
