Option Care Health is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to oversee direct and indirect patient care under a physician's plan of care in a Medicare-certified home health setting. The role includes assessing patients, planning care, educating patients and caregivers, and guiding staff to ensure quality outcomes.

The Nursing Supervisor may act as alternate administrator or director of nursing, and must be on site or readily reachable during infusion service hours, with strong regulatory knowledge and

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a license in the state of practice and 1 year of nursing supervisory/charge experience, or at least 3 years of relevant nursing experience with demonstrated progression.
• Required CPR certification.
• Member of a state or national professional organization.

Responsibilities

• Competent in clinical management of home infusion patients including nursing process and regulatory compliance.
• Knowledgeable of documentation and billing requirements for home health/infusion care.
• Determines suitability of patients for home care.
• Supervises, monitors, and evaluates quality and effectiveness of patient care.
• Reviews and monitors Nursing Care Plans and directs staff to modify plans as needed.
• Acts as Administrator and/or Director of Nursing in the absence of a director.
• Manages daily operations and ensures compliance with policies and regulations.
• Participates in nursing operational data reporting and Plan of Care development.
• Develops and participates in staff orientation and continuing education programs.
• Coordinates on-call responsibilities.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
• Contributes to quality improvement and communication with sales teams.
