Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to lead patient care in a Medicare-certified home health setting. The role involves direct and indirect patient care under a physician's plan, staff supervision, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

The incumbent may serve as alternate Administrator or Director of Nursing when needed and is expected to be present on-site during infusion services.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a license in the current state of practice with 1 year of nursing supervisory/charge experience, or at least 3 years of relevant nursing experience with demonstrated progression.
• Required CPR certification.
• Member of a state or national professional organization.

Responsibilities

• Competent in the clinical management of home infusion patients including Patient management skills, the Nursing Process, the rules of Federal, state, and local regulatory entities that oversee and control the provision of care in a Home Health Agency.
• Supervises, monitors, and evaluates the quality and effectiveness of patient care, including in home evaluations of field staff.
• Reviews and monitors appropriateness of Nursing Care Plans and directs staff to modify the plan as needed.
• Acts as Administrator and/or Director of Nursing of the Home Health Agency in the absence of a director or Manager of Nursing.
• Participates in the process for assessing, managing, and reporting nursing operational and financial data.
