Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Sales Specialist in Wasilla, AK. You will meet customers, understand project needs, and guide them to products and services to complete home improvement projects.

You'll become the product expert, communicating specifications, promotions, and financing options to close sales. You’ll work across departments like Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, and more to help customers achieve their goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months in Lowe's retail.
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Lift up to 25 lbs unassisted; 25+ lbs with assistance if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact within your department for customers and vendors; estimate projects and schedule visits.
• In Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with vendors/store to replace stock.
• Perform price reviews per policies and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and assist teammates on the sales floor.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coaching for development.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
