Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Customer Service Associate in Sherman, TX. You will greet customers, help them locate products, and support their home improvement needs throughout the day.

Your role spans several departments, and you may load merchandise, stock shelves, and assist with orders to ensure accurate, timely service. Daily work centers on listening to customers, answering questions, and maintaining organized merchandise.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer, inputting, accessing, modifying or outputting information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand/sit for long periods and perform duties as needed.
• Lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Down stock merchandise by scanning for empty spaces and replenishing shelves.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time.
• Cross-train in other areas to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., tint/mix paint, cut/thread pipe).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
