Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is hiring a Sales Specialist in North Carolina. You will meet customers, assess project needs, and guide them to Lowe's products and services to close sales.

You will become a product expert, explaining specifications, features, promotions, and financing options to help customers. The role involves assisting diverse departments, meeting goals, and providing excellent service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of customer-facing sales experience or Lowe's retail experience (or 3 years external experience).
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with sales goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and explaining Lowe's products and services.
• Act as point of contact for customers and vendors in your department, handling estimates, scheduling visits, and orders.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and work with vendors/stores to find merchandise.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and service requests on the floor.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach for development.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
