Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. in South Carolina is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, understand project needs, and guide them to the right products to turn ideas into home improvement results.

As a frontline associate, you will become a product expert, explain features and financing options, and help close sales. The role offers bonus opportunities and a path to growth through Lowe's Track to the Trades program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer-facing sales experience or 6 months in Lowe's retail.
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with sales goals or metrics.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Lift at least 25 lbs.
• Sales licensure/registration as required by state (Lowe's supports this).

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and explaining product advantages.
• Coordinate estimates, installer visits, and order tracking to ensure project completion.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with vendors for stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support all checkout functions and store communications.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach for development.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
