Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales if education not met).
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with sales goals.
• Able to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure if required by state.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating Lowe's advantages.
• Serve as department contact for customers and vendors; estimate projects and track orders.
• If in Pro Department, focus on outside accounts and external sales.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors to restock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and assist customers on the sales floor.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
