Job summary

Lowe's Home Centers, LLC is seeking a Sales Specialist to assist customers in-store, understand project needs, and close sales with informed guidance on products, pricing, and financing options.

You will be the product expert across departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, and more, delivering exceptional service and supporting store operations and training. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience.
• 1 year of sales or customer service in a sales environment with goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Able to lift 25lbs unassisted or more with help.
• Sales-related licensure/registration if required by state (Lowe's will support).

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating Lowe's advantages.
• Serve as department contact for customers and vendors, handling estimates and orders.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with vendors/stores to restock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions, department pages, and assistance requests.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach for development.
