Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Sales Specialist in Cross Lanes, WV to help customers find products and transform ideas into reality. You’ll be the first face customers meet, providing friendly, informed service and closing sales with knowledge of promotions and financing options.

You’ll work across departments, assist with orders and installations, and train teammates while following Lowe’s policies. The role emphasizes customer needs and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales or 18 months Lowe’s retail if education not met)
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service with sales goals or metrics
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods
• Minimally lift 25lbs or more with/without accommodation
• Lowe's may support sales-related licensure/registration as required by state

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, handling estimates, scheduling installers, processing orders, and following up for completion
• If in the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales/services
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and coordinate stock with vendors/other stores
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation
• Support checkout functions and department inquiries
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach development
• Complete other duties as assigned
