Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Specialist to welcome customers and help them find the right home improvement products in-store. You will discuss project needs, answer questions, and guide customers toward completing a sale while delivering outstanding service.

In this role, you will become a product expert in your department, providing information on specifications, promotions, and financing options. The position supports growth and a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe's retail experience (or 3 years external sales or 18 months Lowe's retail if education not met).
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with sales goals/metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating advantages of Lowe's products.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors, provide project estimates, schedule installer visits, process and track orders.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors/stores to find merchandise and replacements.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support all checkout functions and assist with customer requests.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach for development.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
