Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (Or 3 years external experience in customer-facing sales or 18 months Lowe’s retail experience if education requirement is not met).
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by seeking out customers to understand their needs and explain Lowe's advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, handling estimates, scheduling installer visits, and tracking orders.
• If in the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and coordinate with vendors/stores to replace stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing and documentation.
• Support all checkout functions and department requests.
• Train associates in the department with on-the-job coaching.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
