Job summary

Lowe’s in Missouri is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, understand home improvement needs, and guide them to the right products and services.

You’ll become a product expert across departments, discuss options, prepare estimates, and coordinate installations while ensuring customer satisfaction and timely follow-up. A background in retail sales and strong communication is valued; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year in customer-facing sales or related Lowe’s experience, or equivalent external sales experience.
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with goals/metrics.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand/sit for prolonged periods; lift 25 lbs.
• Licensure/registration required by state law, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as department point of contact, create estimates, schedule installers, track orders.
• Support external accounts and outside sales in Pro Department when needed.
• Monitor inventory, coordinate with vendors and stores for stock replacement.
• Price reviews per policies and maintain pricing docs.
• Assist checkout processes and train associates on the floor.
