Job summary

Lowe’s is looking for a part-time Sales Specialist to help customers find products, discuss project needs, and close sales. You will move around the store, assist with questions, and become a product expert on specifications, promotions, and financing options.

You’ll work in departments like Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, and more, with opportunities to grow your skills. Benefits include bonus potential and discounts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience.
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state (Lowe’s will support and fund this requirement).

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, providing estimates, scheduling visits, and tracking orders.
• If in the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and coordinate with vendors to replace stock.
• Perform price reviews according to pricing policies and maintain documentation.
• Support all checkout functions and assist customers as needed.
• Train associates in the department and coach on development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
