Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Ohio to welcome customers and assist with product selection for home improvement needs. You will engage with customers throughout the day, help locate products, load merchandise when needed, and ensure customer satisfaction.

You’ll spend time listening to customers, answering questions, and organizing merchandise, with responsibilities varying by department to best serve shoppers.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of computer use experience.
• 6 months experience with retail devices such as smartphones/tablets.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or with accommodation as needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise by identifying empty shelf spaces and replenishing items.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately to ensure on-time pickup/delivery.
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., paint tinting, pipe work, wood cutting).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
