Job summary

You will assist customers, stock merchandise, process orders and deliveries, and may cross-train in other store areas. Minimum qualifications include basic computer use and comfort with retail technology; the job requires standing and lifting up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• 6 months of computer use including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 months of using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform job duties as required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, unassisted, or with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise by identifying empty shelf areas and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time.
• Cross-train in other store areas to support excellent service.
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (e.g., tint paint, cut pipe, lumber).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
