Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to greet customers, help them locate items, and provide friendly, knowledgeable service across departments. You will assist with stocking, processing orders, and supporting checkout to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

Qualifications

• 6 months of computer experience including inputting, accessing, modifying or outputting information.
• 6 months of experience with common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform duties as required.
• Lifting up to 25 lbs unaided or over 25 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, answer questions and deliver friendly, professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Restock merchandise by identifying empty shelf spaces and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time.
• Cross-train in other areas to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., paint, pipes, wood, drywall).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout and perform other duties as assigned.
