Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Sterling, VA to greet customers, help them find products, and provide friendly, efficient service throughout the shopping journey.

You’ll spend time listening to customers, answering questions, and organizing merchandise, with duties varying by department. Benefits include health, tuition assistance, and employee stock programs.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Able to perform duties requiring prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities.
• Bi-lingual skills (preferred) and certification in related trades (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, answer questions, and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Restock shelves and replenish supplies as needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately for on-time receipt.
• Cross-train in other departments to enhance service quality.
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (e.g., paint, pipes, wood, drywall).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
