Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to assist customers with home improvement needs and to guide them through product selection and checkout. The role emphasizes friendly service, merchandise handling, stock replenishment, and cross-training across departments to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

Qualified candidates will have basic computer and retail tech experience, be able to lift 25 lbs, and thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
• At least 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones and tablets).
• Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock replenishment and merchandise organization on shelves.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately to ensure on-time pick-up/delivery.
• Cross-train in other store areas to support customer service excellence.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., paint, pipes, wood, drywall).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
