Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Newport, TN. You will welcome customers, help them find the right products, and support them through their home improvement needs at Lowe's.

Your role includes assisting with merchandise placement, processing orders, and potentially training in other store areas to ensure top-notch service. Bilingual skills are a plus; travel is not required.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
• 6 months experience with common retail technology (smart phones/tablets).
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs unassisted.
• Bi-lingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Down stock merchandise by refreshing shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise on time.
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department (e.g., paint, pipes, wood, drywall, blinds) as needed.
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
