Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. in Newport, TN seeks a Customer Service Associate to warmly welcome customers, locate products, and help solve home improvement questions.

You will work across departments as needed, assist with loading merchandise, and ensure customer needs are met with friendly, professional service. This role supports flexible part-time schedules, training, and opportunities to grow within a nationwide home improvement leader.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying information)
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones, tablets)
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver friendly, professional service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Stock replenishment and organizing shelves
• Process orders and deliveries accurately
• Cross-train across store areas to improve service
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (e.g., tint paint, cut pipes)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
