Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find the right products for home improvement projects. You’ll listen, answer questions, and guide shoppers throughout their visit, ensuring a positive store experience.

Role involves assisting with locating merchandise, stocking, processing orders, and coordinating with other store teams to meet customer needs. Prior retail or bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 6 months computer experience including data input/access/modification.
• 6 months experience with common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand, sit, and perform duties as required.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation.
• Preferred bilingual ability.
• Certifications in department trades (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, lumber/building materials) may be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
