Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find the right products for home improvement needs. You will engage with customers throughout the day, guide them, and ensure their needs are met while maintaining friendly service and product knowledge.

The role includes seasonal shifts and varies by department, with opportunities for growth, bilingual credentials, and potential training in various areas of the store.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience with computers and inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 months experience with common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities to perform job duties.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation.
• Bi-lingual skills and department certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time.
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
