Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. in Santa Fe is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find the right products for home improvement needs.

You will interact with customers throughout the day, assist with locating merchandise, and ensure customer needs are met in a fast-paced retail environment. Responsibilities include answering questions, stocking, processing orders, and supporting other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer to input, access, modify or output information.
• 6 months experience with common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise by identifying empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time.
• Cross-train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
