Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. in Michigan is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to welcome customers, help them find the right products and services for their home improvement needs, and deliver friendly, professional service throughout the day.

You will assist with locating merchandise, answer questions, load or stock as needed, and work with store teams to ensure customers receive orders on time while upholding Lowe's standards.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer for input, access, or output of information.
• 6 months experience with common retail technology like smartphones and tablets.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and operate in a retail setting.
• Willingness to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, answer questions, and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Restock shelves and replenish supplies as needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately to meet customer expectations.
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve service delivery.
• Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., paint, piping, wood).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
