Lowe’s is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Lansing, MI to welcome customers and help them find the right home improvement products. You will engage with shoppers, answer questions, and ensure a positive shopping experience across departments based on store needs.

Responsibilities include helping customers locate items, loading merchandise when needed, and maintaining organized displays while exemplifying friendly, professional service.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer.
• 6 months experience with common retail technology (phones/tablets).
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform duties as needed.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, answer questions, and deliver friendly customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Manage stock by checking shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately to ensure on-time receipt.
• Cross-train in other areas to support superior customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department (e.g., tint/mix paint, cut/pipe, wood, drywall, blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
