Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Michigan to welcome customers and help them find the right products for home improvement. You will interact with customers, assist with product selection, and ensure needs are met throughout the day.

Responsibilities include locating and handling merchandise, responding to questions, and supporting store departments as needed. Growth opportunities exist within the Lowe's team.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time.
• Cross-train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
