Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. in Brookhaven, PA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find products for home improvement.

You’ll answer questions, stock merchandise, process orders, and support customers across departments, from Appliances to Pro Services, in a friendly, fast-paced environment. Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, or outputting information)
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets)
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic (addition/subtraction)
• Able to perform duties with prolonged standing and other tasks
• Minimum lift 25 lbs unassisted or with accommodation
• 6 months of retail and/or customer service experience
• Bi-lingual skills
• Certification in hardware/kitchen/plumbing/electrical or related trades

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Stock merchandise by checking shelves and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
