Job summary

Lowe's is hiring for a part-time Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find the right products for home improvement needs. You will assist with locating merchandise, handling transactions, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the shopping experience.

Responsibilities include stocking, providing product guidance, and collaborating with team members to deliver excellent service. The role may involve lifting and standing for extended periods in various departments.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer for inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Dow stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
