Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to welcome customers, help them find the right products, and provide friendly, efficient service in-store. You will interact with customers throughout the day, assist with locating products, and ensure customer needs are met.

You’ll also stock merchandise, handle orders and deliveries, and cross-train in other departments to deliver the best service. This role supports several departments and requires good communication skills.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer to input, access, modify, or output information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones and tablets).
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic.
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time.
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs.
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
