Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Cincinnati to welcome customers and help them select home improvement products. You’ll engage with shoppers, answer questions, and ensure a smooth checkout experience while maintaining product displays.

Ideal candidates bring basic computer and retail tech skills, can perform tasks requiring standing and lifting, and are ready to learn and grow within Lowe’s diverse departments.

Qualifications

• 6 Months Experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying information)
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology (smart phones, tablets)
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
• Able to perform duties with prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without accommodation

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
