Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring a Customer Service Associate in Mount Sterling, KY. You will welcome customers, help them find the right products for home improvement needs, and interact with customers throughout the day in various departments.

The role involves listening to customers, answering questions, organizing merchandise, and ensuring customer needs are met. You may load merchandise, assist with product placement, and participate in cross-functional training to deliver top-tier service.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Reading, writing and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities to perform job duties.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise by checking shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time.
• Cross-train in other areas to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department (e.g., tint/mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut/bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
