Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Bardstown, KY to welcome customers and assist with finding the right products for home improvement projects. You will listen to needs, answer questions, and help organize merchandise while providing friendly, professional service throughout the shift.

Typical duties include stocking shelves, aiding with checkout, and collaborating with team members to ensure orders and deliveries are accurate and on time.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with or without an accommodation
• Preferred: 6 months of Retail and/or customer service experience
• Bi-lingual skills
• Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials)

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
