Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, understand project needs, and guide them to the best products and services. You’ll become a product expert, sharing specifications, promotions, and financing options to close sales.

You’ll work in departments like Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, and more, delivering friendly service and solutions that meet customer goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe's retail experience.
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with goals/metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand/sit for prolonged periods and lift 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating product advantages.
• Act as point of contact for customers and vendors within the department, manage estimates and orders.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory, coordinate with vendors and stores for stock
• Perform price reviews per pricing policies and maintain pricing/docs
• Support checkout functions and assist across departments
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach development
• Complete other duties as assigned
