Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Respiratory Therapist – Ventilator Support to deliver specialized respiratory care to ventilator-dependent patients at home and in alternate settings. You will educate families and coordinate with physicians and care teams to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes outside hospital walls.

Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, managing ventilator care plans, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent required.
• One year of clinical experience with ventilator exposure preferred.
• Valid Respiratory Therapist license where applicable; CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized respiratory care to ventilator-dependent patients in home and alternate care settings.
• Perform clinical assessments and reassessments, review patient records and care plans, and communicate findings to physicians.
• Instruct patients and caregivers on ventilator units, supplies, and proper equipment use.
