Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking Home Health Registered Nurses to deliver skilled nursing care in patients' homes or residential settings across North Carolina. The role involves documenting care per physician orders and may require accompanying patients to appointments.

Candidates must be licensed as an RN in the practicing state, possess CPR if applicable, and meet regulatory requirements. Travel and per diem assignments are available at multiple NC locations.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state in which the RN will practice.
• One year of home health nursing experience preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR, if applicable; health certificate per contract or state regulations.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document skilled one-on-one home health nursing per the physician-ordered care plan.
• Care is provided primarily in the patient’s home or residential setting, with travel to appointments as needed.
• Coordinate with physicians and care team to implement the plan of care.

Job description

The Home Health Registered Nurse is responsible forproviding and documenting skilled one-on-one nursing care in accordance withthe physician-ordered individualized patient care plan. This care is provided mostly in the patient’shome or a residential setting but can transfer outside the home duringappointments and other activities the nurse may accompany the patient to.

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state in which the RN will practice
• One year of home health nursing experience preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
