Amergis, a leading healthcare staffing firm, seeks a Registered Nurse - Hospice to provide compassionate end-of-life care across multiple facilities in Texas. You will assess, plan, and implement patient-centered hospice care with supervision, demonstrating clinical judgment and coordination with the care team.

• Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which the nurse practices.
• One year experience preferred.
• Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) credential preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

The Registered Nurse - Hospice is responsible for providingcare, comfort and support to terminally ill patients. The Registered Nurse - Hospice assumes theresponsibility and accountability for the delivery of hospice patient care invarious settings. The Registered Nursedemonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective andefficient manner with supervision. TheRegistered Nurse will also demonstrate critical thinking and performanceability in the coordination of patient care.Consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountablein managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patientcare.

• Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which thenurse practices
• One year experience preferred
