Optum, in partnership with Caretenders, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support home-based patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. You will implement treatment plans, educate patients, and coordinate with the care team to improve patient well-being. Weekend availability is required.

A valid PTA license in the state, CPR certification, and driving access are essential. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth

Formación

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.
• Preferred: CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to perform physical tasks required for patient care, including lifting, transferring, and assisting with mobility.

Responsabilidades

• Follow state laws and plan of care as defined by supervising PT.
• Instructs and aids patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, transfer, safety, and prosthetic training.
• Observes and reports patient responses; coordinates care with healthcare team.
• Educates patient, family, and caregivers on therapy within PTA scope.
